In 2009, we started as two grad students with love for cosplay and a dream to disrupt the industry and today we’re fortunate to have thousands of satisfied customers around the world. Our mission is to provide our customers with high quality cosplay costumes, wigs, and footwear with affordable price and we need bright eager creative types to help!
   

Who we’re looking for:

A social-savvy, creative, and motivated writer with a passion for cosplay and the community. This is a commission-based, remote, work-from-home position with no travel required.
   

What you'll do:

⬤ Write copy that creatively reaches out and engages our audience.
⬤ Curate popular cosplay photos and post them on all Cosplay Shopper social platforms.
⬤ Identify key influencers and build goodwill by sharing content with your audience.
⬤ Utilize creative writing skills to carefully craft witty captions/descriptions, hashtags for social media posts.
⬤ All PR/press/event copy for magazines, press page, etc.
⬤ Any other one off projects that requires content writing vs marketing copy
   

Background & Experience:

⬤ Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, writing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
⬤ 2-3 years relevant experience in social media, copy editing and/or marketing.
⬤ Understand current standards on all major social media channels.
⬤ Prior experience managing editorial of a social media account with a diverse audience.
⬤ Passionate about anime and cosplay.
